What Our Clients Say

"The best part of KidSwim and especially Lisa Cook, is how she adapts her teaching methods to each child's personality. I have had two children taught to swim by Lisa and she used very different approaches each time. My daughter was very scared of the water while my son was eager to jump in at his very first lesson. Lisa took the time to get to know each of my children and then decided which approach would work for them. They both learned to swim and they both loved her."

"Kidswim has been an incredible experience for our son. Lisa has a wonderful raport with the kids. She teaches them how to swim, while having fun at the same time. Her guidance, creativity and warmth are one in a million."

Our whole family loves Coach Lisa. My kids have worked with her for 3 summers and right around Spring Break they start asking when they will get to start taking lessons again. She has taught my 8 year old how everything from his strokes to diving and my 7 year old will master her strokes and hopefully start diving this summer. My 4 year old cannot wait to get back in the pool and I believe within days she will be swimming the length of the pool. Having someone that I love (because she is so smart, reliable and an amazing teacher) and having someone who my kids love (because she races with them and makes learning fun), is fabulous and not always so easy to find. Coach Lisa is an amazing person as well as an amazing coach. You could not find anyone better and we are all lucky to have her in our lives.

Lisa Cook’s Kidswim program is one that truly respects the health and safety of young children. As a pediatrician, I knew firsthand the safety issues involved with swim lessons. I have seen children develop water toxicity from swallowing too much pool water and I have met children afraid of the water because of overly-aggressive teaching strategies. Lisa worked slowly and steadily with my daughter, following her cues and respecting her limits. As a result, my 5.5 year old daughter is now a happy, confident swimmer who knows how to keep herself safe in water.
